1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash). When you use the BOM generator, we temporarily process the images you upload and the dimensions you enter. Uploaded images are not stored permanently unless you save a project.

We also collect standard usage data: page views, feature usage, and error reports. This helps us improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to: (a) provide and maintain the BOM generation service, (b) improve AI analysis accuracy through anonymized model training, (c) send service-related communications, and (d) prevent abuse of the platform.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your product designs or BOM data with competitors.

3. Data Security

All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.3. Data at rest is encrypted with AES-256. We conduct regular security audits and penetration tests. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days. BOM projects are retained per your plan's version history window. After that, data is permanently deleted.

5. Your Rights

You may request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, delete your account, or object to processing at any time by emailing privacy@formulok.com. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
